Today was a major checkoff our families bucketlist when we made the trek to Disneyland outside of Paris. ✔️🏰We ubered our way there to get the quickest door to door service, when comparing the price to training🚞 there it was only a little bit more and def more convenient. 🚕 So off we went and arrived an hour later in Marne La Valle.
As we entered the park we were met with scaffolding that ruined the quintessential Disney Land picture. Very annoying. We would soon learn that much of the 2 parks were closed off for renovation, which was both annoying and a good thing since it meant less to do and see.
We entered on Main Street, which looked very vaguely familiar and then had first views of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. Pretty. Not huge. 🏰
We headed straight for Space Mountain and were surprised to find out it’s an upside down roller coaster. After going to Disney World several times its was nice not knowing what to expect on the rides. 🚄
It’s A Small World, never disappoints for the young and old. There were plenty of pic opps on the ride. 🌏👧🏽👦🏼👶🏻👱🏿👧🏻👳🏽
Les Pays de Contes de Fees was a casual boat ride around miniature fairy tale stories, and contrary to what Mr Enpsychopedia says, was still very enjoyable to the nonnursery school crowd. 🙄
After lunch we popped on over across the way to the other park which was Walt Disney Studios.
Other than my most favorite ride in Disney, the Hollywood Tower of Terror🏨, there was not much to do. Well except…taking a nap on a bench. 😴There is no shame in my game…
We finished the little that was left to do and then popped back over to Disneyland for another hour or so…we ended the day with the trifecta of Disney Village and ate at Planet Hollywood. 🍗🍕All in all it was a cool experience but nothing tops Magic Kingdom in my opinion. Disney World will always have the most special place in our hearts ❤️🏰
The highlight of my day was the fuzzy warm socks on my hands 🙌🏽and the elevator ride up to my hotel room, for various reasons…👨🏻✖️⬆️❌
